CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT iS made and entered into this 4th day of <br />March, 1986, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and CH2MHill, <br />Inc., a California corporation (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, engineering services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their engineering services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual convenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, <br />and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City,. other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of <br />the area on file, necessary direction and plan checking w~.thin a <br />reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Anne <br />Kernkamp. Consultant shall not replace Anne Kernkamp without the <br />prior approval of the City. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
