PDR-719, Peter Ehlen, East Beach Ventures, for Orthopedic Center of Hacienda <br />Application for design review approval to install aroof-mounted mechanical equipment <br />and screen wall and a new generator and enclosure matching the existing building, to <br />construct an entry canopy, and to replace one double-entry door for Orthopedic Center <br />of Hacienda located at 4626 Willow Road. <br />Approved. <br />PDUP-9, Gina Blau <br />Application for a conditional use permit to expand an existing small family day care to a <br />large family day care for up to 14 children at the residence located at 4215 Chapman <br />Way. <br />Approved. <br />Actions of the Planning Commission -April 23, 2008 <br />Commissioners Present: Phil Blank, Anne Fox, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor, and <br />Jennifer Pearce. <br />Commissioner Absent: Arne Olson. <br />PUD-73, Steve Maestas and Mike Carey <br />Application fora Planned Unit Development (PUD) rezoning of an approximately <br />.22-acre parcel from the RM-4,000 (Multiple-Family Residential) District to the PUD-HDR <br />(Planned Unit Development -High Density Residential) District located at 204 Kottinger <br />Drive. <br />Staff Recommended: Recommend approval. <br />Action Taken: Recommended approval per staff, with the following modifications: <br />(1) Amend Condition No. 4 to limit the maximum building height of the <br />main structures to their existing heights and their floor area ratios to <br />30 percent; (2) Add language to Condition No. 5 to indicate that. all <br />required parking spaces shall be used solely for parking and not for <br />storage; (3) Amend Condition No. 8 to indicate that all future property <br />improvements shall come before the Planning Commission for review <br />and approval; (4) Include the standard language for the installation of an <br />automatic fire sprinkler system to Condition No. 15; and (5) Add a new <br />condition prohibiting on-site parking or storage of RVs, trailers, campers, <br />fifth wheels, motor homes, boats, and other recreational vehicles. <br />Vote: 4-1 (Fox voted no). <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
