ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: This project has been found to be Categorically Exempt from CEQA under Section 15301, Class 1 of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Existing Facilities, because the project consists of tY:~ minor interior improvements within an existing approximately 4,200 square foot tenant space. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission open the Public Hearing; receive Staffs and the Applicant's presentations; take public testimony; question Staff and the Applicant; and adopt a Resolution approving the request for a Conditional Use Permit to establish a martial arts studio and youth center info an approximately 4,200 square foot vacant tenant space at 7233 Regional Street and to approve the parking reductions, subject to the attached Findings and Conditions.
