Service Coordination <br />As the primary Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provider for the Tri- <br />Valley, the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) completes all <br />coordination of rides into other parts of the Bay Area. LAVTA staff completes the <br />certification of all the area's ADA riders, and coordinates this information with <br />the Pleasanton Paratransit Service Office. LAVTA assures that this coordination <br />is consistent with local and regional requirements. Pleasanton Paratransit Service <br />and the LAVTA Wheels Dial-A-Ride Program work together to coordinate <br />paratransit rides for clients in the Tri-Valley. <br />Travel training opportunities connecting DTR clients to Wheels fixed route <br />service are also underway, and have been a successful way to coordinate transit <br />service. Through the LAVTA/Pleasanton PPS partnership, a more responsive <br />transportation service exists for residents. <br />3. Efficiency and Effectiveness <br />The Pleasanton Paratransit Service Year End Report summarizes <br />accomplishments for the year. Some of the highlights for FY 2006-07 include: <br />• 19,122 vehicle trips completed <br />• 71,516 revenue vehicle miles traveled <br />• 6,820 revenue vehicle hours accomplished <br />• 71 % shared passenger rides <br />• 6,9441ift-assisted trips completed <br />• 93% rating for on-time service <br />• 52.5% of all riders were 80+ plus years of age <br />The City of Pleasanton hired Caporicci & Larson to complete an audit of the <br />Pleasanton Paratransit Service for FY 2006-07.
