THE CITY OF <br />~ ^ ~ :i: n <br />PL~£~1S~4NTONo <br />Pleasanton Paratransit Service (PPS) <br />Pilot Downtown Route <br />Information <br />*What is the PPS Downtown Route Service (DR)? <br />DR is a same-day fixed route transit service that operates throughout downtown <br />Pleasanton connecting local senior housing complexes to the Main Street area, anchored by <br />the Safeway and Raleys shopping centers. PPS riders can access the service at any of the <br />DR stops and ride all day for one (1) low fare. <br />*Who provides the Downtown Route Service (DR)? <br />The Downtown Route is a service of the Pleasanton Paratransit Service (PPS), <br />operated and funded by the City of Pleasanton. <br />* Who can use the DR? <br />Any registered Pleasanton Paratransit Service (PPS) rider can use the Downtown <br />Route. <br />*How much does it cost to use the Downtown Route? <br />DR is half the cost of a PPS ride, or $1.25 for service all day throughout downtown <br />Pleasanton. DR tickets must be purchased in advance at the Pleasanton Senior Center, or by <br />mail at 5353 Sunol Blvd. Pleasanton, CA 94566. The PPS Driver cannot take money on <br />the bus. <br />*What are the hours of the Downtown Route? <br />The Downtown Route mini-bus will run Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. <br />(excluding holidays) See route schedule for specific stop times and locations. <br />*Where does the Downtown Route operate? <br />The DR service operates in downtown Pleasanton with stops at the following senior <br />housing complexes (See service map for detailed stop locations): <br />Ridge View Commons Kottinger Place <br />Deer Ridge Apartments Stanley Junction <br />Gardens at Ironwood Vineyard and Hacienda Mobile Home Parks <br />Pleasanton Gardens <br />
