CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-72 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF RESURFACING OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 85-23, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO O'GRADY PAVING, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work by O'Grady Paving, Inc. on the resurfacing of <br /> various City streets, Project No. 85-23, has been <br /> satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The work on the resurfacing of various City streets <br /> is hereby accepted. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $1,576.10 in favor of O'Grady <br /> Paving, Inc. in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. <br /> 85-23. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $23,797.10 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 4, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~C <br /> ATTEST: <br /> F BRAMDES JR Y <br /> <br />yJames R~'Walker, t Clerk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> Ap~ROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> Peter D.
