Sewer and Drainaqe Fund

<br />The Sewer and Drainage fund provides the funds to meet the cost of
<br />maintaining the City's wastewater collection system, the payments
<br />to DSRSD for sewage treatment service, and the City of Pleasanton's
<br />share of the debt service and maintenance costs for the LAVWMA
<br />pipeline.
<br />
<br />The Sewer Fund ending fund balance at June 30, 1986 is projected to
<br />be approximately $100,327 greater than estimated at the time the
<br />budget was adopted. Projected revenues and the beginning fund
<br />balance are greater than the estimates made last spring as shown in
<br />the Sewer Fund Summary shown below. An increase in expenditures is
<br />anticipated equal to $115,000 in the payment to DSRSD for treatment
<br />services based on an increase in sewer revenues; an increase in the
<br />payment to LAVWMA of $9,000; and a $5,391 increase in operating
<br />costs due mainly to salary adjustments.
