1.10.010 Chapter 1.10 CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE Sections: 1.10.010 Model Code Adopted By Reference: 1.10.020 Statements Of Economic Interests: 1.10.030 Disclosure Categories: 1.10.040 Designated Positions: 1.10.050 Consultants: 1.10.060 Relatives Of Designated Officials And Employees: 1.10.010 Model Code Adopted By Reference: Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the model conflict of interest code, as adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission (2 California Code of Regula- tions, Section 18730), and any properly adopted amendments thereto, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall consti- tute the conflict of interest code of the city. The city clerk shall maintain at all times three (3) copies of said code. (Ord. 1573 § 1, 1992) 1.10.020 Statements Of Economic Interests: The officials and employees designated in Section 1.10.040 of this chapter shall file statements of economic interest with the city clerk. Upon receipt of the state- ments of the city council, planning com- mission, city manager, city attorney and employees making decisions relating to financial investments, the city clerk shall make and retain a copy and forward the original of these statements to the fair po- litical practices commission. The city clerk shall retain statements for all other desig- nated employees. (Ord. 1706 § 1, 1997; Ord. 1573 § 1, 1992) 1.10.030 Disclosure Categories: The following disclosure categories are hereby adopted: A. Disclosure Category 1: Designated officials and employees in this disclosure category shall disclose all sources of in- come, interests in real property and in- vestments and business positions in busi- ness entities. B. Disclosure Category 2: Designated officials and employees in this disclosure category shall disclose all investments and business positions in business entities and sources of income which provide services, supplies, materials, machinery or equip- ment of the type utilized by the city. C. Disclosure Category 3: Designated officials and employees in this disclosure category shall disclose all investments and business positions in business entities and sources of income which provide services, supplies, materials or equipment of the type utilized by the designated employee's department or division. D. Disclosure Category 4: Designated officials and employees in this disclosure category shall disclose all investments and business positions in business entities and sources of income, interests in real prop- erty which are subject to the regulations, permits or licensing authority of the city.
