MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 1, 2008 <br />Call to Order: Mayor Hosterman called the special meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br />Public Comment <br />Jaime Zile supported acquisition of transportation corridor and asked that the Council consider a <br />temporary solution to elevate the current parking issues downtown. <br />The meeting adjourned to closed session for the following purpose: <br />CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR -Pursuant to Government <br />Code §54956.8 <br />Property: Acquisition of the Alameda County Transportation Corridor <br />Agency negotiator: Nelson Fialho <br />Negotiating parties: County of Alameda <br />Under negotiation: Price, terms of payment, or both concerning the purchase and <br />acquisition of the Alameda County Transportation Corridor between Bernal Avenue <br />and Stanley Boulevard <br />Adjournment: The special meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Karen Diaz <br />City Clerk <br />
