CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-54 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS FOR FIRE STATION <br /> NO. 3, PROJECT NO. 85-25, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO O. C. JONES & SONS, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones & Sons, Inc. on the parking lot <br /> improvements for Fire Station No. 3, Project No. 85-25, <br /> has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the parking lot improvements for Fire <br /> Station No. 3 is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $18,800.28 in favor of O. C. <br /> Jones & Sons, Inc. in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. <br /> 85-25. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $3,933.02 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion· <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption· <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 18, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> B~A~DES JR YOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
