3 <br />THE CITY OF <br />j~L£f~S~4NTONo <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />April 15, 2008 <br />City Manager <br />TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br />SUMMARY <br />In accordance with commission appointment policies, twice annually the City solicits <br />applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br />commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br />the City appoints representatives. <br />Recently, the City solicited applications through local newspaper advertisements. <br />Applications were received and interviews held. A list of the Mayor's appointments is <br />listed on the following page. The Council is asked to ratify these appointments. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City Commissions <br />and Committees as listed on the attached table. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact. <br />Approved by, <br />Nelson Fialhc <br />City Manager <br />
