CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-45 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCEPT OF A 220-UNIT SENIOR <br /> CITIZEN HOUSING PROJECT, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED <br /> WITH ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS AND AUTHORIZATION TO PLACE A <br /> MEASURE ON JUNE 1986 BALLOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE <br /> 34 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 4, 1986, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Senior Citizen Housing <br /> Advisory Committee regarding the proposed Senior Housing <br /> Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, authorization from the City Council is'necessary before <br /> the project can proceed to the next phases; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: ' <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves the concept of a 220-unit Senior <br /> Citizen Housing Project to be constructed in phases with <br /> the first phase of 90 units to contain 82 one bedroom <br /> units and 8 two bedroom units. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council authorizes staff to proceed with the project <br /> development, which includes the architectural drawings <br /> required to obtain site plan approval. <br /> <br />Section 3: Council authorizes staff to proceed with the <br /> necessary steps to place a measure on the June 1986 <br /> ballot to authorize the construction of the 220 units in <br /> accordance with Article 34 of the State Constitution. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
