CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-27 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM PACIFIC RIM DEVELOPMENT <br /> CORPORATION AND A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM W. R. GRACE LAND <br /> CORPORATION FOR A PORTION OF OWENS COURT AND OWENS DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Pacific Rim <br /> Development Corporation, formerly W. R. Grace <br /> Development Corporation, to the City of Pleasanton, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference, for purposes of right-of-way for <br /> Owens Court and Owens Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is also in receipt of a Quitclaim Deed from W. <br /> R. Grace Land Corporation to the City of Pleasanton, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference, for purposes of a portion of the <br /> Owens Court and Owens Drive rights-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 21, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Acting Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of <br /> these deeds is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant Deed from Pacific Rim Development <br /> Corporation to the City of Pleasanton for street <br /> right-of-way for Owens Court and Owens Drive is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Quitclaim Deed from W. R. Grace Land Corporation <br /> to the City of Pleasanton for street right-of-way for a <br /> portion of Owens Court and Owens Drive is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
