CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-27 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM PACIFIC RIM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM W. R. GRACE LAND CORPORATION FOR A PORTION OF OWENS COURT AND OWENS DRIVE WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Pacific Rim Development Corporation, formerly W. R. Grace Development Corporation, to the City of Pleasanton, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, for purposes of right-of-way for Owens Court and Owens Drive; and WHEREAS, the City is also in receipt of a Quitclaim Deed from W. R. Grace Land Corporation to the City of Pleasanton, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, for purposes of a portion of the Owens Court and Owens Drive rights-of-way; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 21, 1986, the City Council received a report from the Acting Director of Public Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of these deeds is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Grant Deed from Pacific Rim Development Corporation to the City of Pleasanton for street right-of-way for Owens Court and Owens Drive is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. Section 2: The Quitclaim Deed from W. R. Grace Land Corporation to the City of Pleasanton for street right-of-way for a portion of Owens Court and Owens Drive is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
