PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-94 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SUSAN <br />UFFENS AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-87-32 <br />WHEREAS, Susan Uffens has applied for a conditional use permit to <br />operate an automobile brokerage and leasing facility to <br />be located at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CS (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 9, <br />1987, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />a) That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accordance with thur osecofvthe district in <br />Municipal Code and the p p <br />which the site is located; <br />The proposed use, as conditioned, is a business <br />appropriate for this location. The proposed use is <br />compatible with other automobile-related uses <br />within the complex and in the area; <br />b) That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in the <br />vicinity; <br />As conditioned, t:he exterior storage of automobiles <br />for sale or lease will be restricted and an overall <br />parking scheme, subject to City review, will <br />accommodate existing and future tenants in the <br />complex; <br />c) That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the Municipal <br />Code; and <br />As proposed and conditioned, each applicable <br />provisions will be satisfied. <br />- 1 - <br />
