PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-97 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CA:iE UP-87-34, A USE PERMIT FOR THE <br />GAME STATION <br />WHEREAS, Larry Evans/The Game Station has applied for a <br />conditional use permit to continue the operation of a <br />game arcade at 4301 Valley Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 9, <br />1987, after considering all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff, the <br />Planning Commission could not make the required findings <br />outlined in the staff report because the Planning <br />Commission determined that the Game Station is not an <br />appropriate use in conjunction with the other commercial <br />establishments in the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING CUMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies Case UP-87-34, the application of Larry Evans <br />for a conditional use permit to operate a game arcade <br />(The Game Station) at 4301 Valley Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 9TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: None <br />ATTEST: <br />- 1 - <br />
