PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-100 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF RZ-87-7, APPLICATION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of a letter of request from James and Carol <br />Manfrin, the Planning Commission initiated an <br />application to amend the Municipal Code pertaining to <br />bed and breakfast inns as a permitted use or <br />conditionally permitted use in the "C" (Commercial) <br />Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, this application was considered a the Planning <br />Commission's duly noticed public hearing of <br />September 23, 1987 wherein the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are exempt from the requirements <br />of CEQA, therefore, no environmental document <br />accompanied this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found bed and breakfast inns to <br />be an appropriate conditional use in the CC (Central <br />Commercial) District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends that Section 18.44.090 of the Municipal <br />Code pertaining to permitted and conditional uses in the <br />Commercial Districts be amended to allow bed and <br />breakfast inns as a conditionally permitted use in the <br />CC (Central Commercial) District as contained in the <br />attached draft ordinance. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 23RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: September 23, 1987 <br />- 1 - <br />
