PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-81 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-87-5, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone the <br />approximately 152 acre TMI property located northeast of <br />the intersection of Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue from <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density Residential <br />to R-1-40,000 (Single-family Residential) District or to <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan. The parcel is currently designated "Specific Plan <br />- Low Density Residential" on the General Plan and <br />requires a specific plan to be prepared prior to <br />development plan approval; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a negative declaration for <br />RZ-87-5 after considering all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the staff <br />recommendation that the existing PUD Low Density <br />Residential zoning district is the most appropriate for <br />the site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends denial of Case RZ-87-5, application of the <br />City of Pleasanton as herein described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
