PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTIONI NO. PC-87-82 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR RZ-87-6, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Growth Management Ordinance to eliminate extension of Growth Management approval beyond one year or any other amendment consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan. Projects approved for construction within a given year must obtain building permits within one year of the date of approval or lose the approval; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 1987, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for RZ-87-6; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 26, 1987, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 8, 1987, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed Growth Management Ordinance amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section l: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-87-G as herein described. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
