PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-86 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR PUD-81-30-19M/PUD-85-8-3M, THE <br />APPLICATIONS OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br />a major modification i°or two approved rezoning and <br />development plans for a business park to incorporate <br />conditions of approval, design guidelines, and <br />Development Agreements for Phases I and II of Hacienda <br />Business Park, located on an approximately 1,375 acre <br />site in the area generally bounded by Interstate 580, <br />Hopyard Road, and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for this <br />application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 24, 1987, and received the <br />recommendations of they staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 8, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />PUD-81-30-19M/PUD-85-8-3M as herein described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
