PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-86 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PUD-81-30-19M/PUD-85-8-3M, THE APPLICATIONS OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for a major modification i°or two approved rezoning and development plans for a business park to incorporate conditions of approval, design guidelines, and Development Agreements for Phases I and II of Hacienda Business Park, located on an approximately 1,375 acre site in the area generally bounded by Interstate 580, Hopyard Road, and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 1987, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 24, 1987, and received the recommendations of they staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 8, 1987, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for PUD-81-30-19M/PUD-85-8-3M as herein described. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
