PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-78a <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR BROOKSIDE DEVELOPMENT/BUDGET RENT-A-CAR <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-87-11 <br />WHEREAS, Brookside Development/Budget Rent-a-Car have applied for <br />development plan approval to construct an automobile <br />rental/sales facility on an approximately 1.67 acre site <br />located on the north side of Pimlico Drive just east of <br />the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-11; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study for this project, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 22, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-11. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
