PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-79a <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />BROOKSIDE DEVELOPMENT/BUDGET RENT-A-CAR AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-87-11 <br />WHEREAS, Brookside Development/Budget Rent-a-Car have applied for <br />development plan approval to construct an automobile <br />rental/sales facility on an approximately 1.67 acre site <br />located on the north side of Pimlico Drive just east of <br />the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 22, 1987, <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-87-11 after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed <br />development plan is consistent with the General Plan and <br />the purposes of the PUD zoning District of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the application of Brookside <br />Development/Budget Rent-a-Car for development plan <br />approval to construct an automobile rental/sales <br />facility on an approximately 1.67 acre site located on <br />the north side of Pimlico Drive just east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive <br />subject to the condition shown in Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
