PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-81a <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR GOOCH/NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-87-18 <br />WHEREAS, Ken Gooch and Associates and New Life Fellowship Church <br />for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development <br />plan approval for a ten-unit single-family residential <br />development to be located on an approximately 1 acre <br />site located on the south side of Valley Trails Drive <br />opposite its southerly intersection with National Park <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM-1500 (Multi-family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-18; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study for this project, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 22, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-18. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
