PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-86a <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATTON FOR B-W CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-87-20 <br />WHEREAS, B-W Construction Company and First Interstate Bank have <br />applied for development plan approval to construct a <br />28-unit residential townhouse complex, to be located on <br />an approximately 2.4 acre site at 553 St. John Street; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - High Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-20; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 19, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 22, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-20. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
