PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-89 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR ROBERT BERKEY AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-87-7 <br />WHEREAS, Robert Berkey and Berkey Motors have applied for Planned <br />Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval <br />for construction of an approximately 40,800 square feet <br />automobile sales/service facility to be located on an <br />approximately 5.0 acre site located at 4350 Rosewood <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) <br />District. <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-7; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 1, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held July 22, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-7. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
