PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-91 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDIP7G APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR ALEX :iPOTORNO AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-87-4 WHEREAS, Alex Spotorno has applied to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from Public Health and Safety to Low Density Residential for an approximately 160 acre site located generally in the area northeast of the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 26, 1987, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-87-4; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 4, 1987, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 26, 1987 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed general plan amendment:; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for the application of Alex Spotorno to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "Public Health and Safety" to "Low Density Residential" for an approximately 160 acre site located generally in the area northeast of the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
