PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-91 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDIP7G APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR ALEX :iPOTORNO AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GP-87-4 <br />WHEREAS, Alex Spotorno has applied to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan from Public Health and <br />Safety to Low Density Residential for an approximately <br />160 acre site located generally in the area northeast of <br />the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 26, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GP-87-4; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 4, 1987, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 26, 1987 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />general plan amendment:; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for the application of Alex Spotorno to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan <br />from "Public Health and Safety" to "Low Density <br />Residential" for an approximately 160 acre site located <br />generally in the area northeast of the intersection of <br />Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
