PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-92 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />ALEX SPOTORNO AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-87-4 <br />WHEREAS, Alex Spotorno has applied to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan from Public Health and <br />Safety to Low Density Residential for an approximately <br />160 acre site located generally in the area northeast of <br />the intersection of Alisal Street and Happy Valley Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Negative Declaration for Case GP-87-4 after considering <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff at their duly noticed <br />public hearing of August 26, 1987; and <br />WHEREAS, after considering all public testimony, comments of the <br />previously formed General Plan Residential Review <br />Committee co-chairmen, and relevant exhibits, the <br />Planning Commission desired to maintain the area in a <br />rural manner. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends that an approximately 145 acres of the <br />total 160 Spotorno property be redesignated "Rural <br />Density Residential," with the remaining 15 acres to <br />remain "Low Density Residential" as currently shown on <br />the General Plan land use map of the City of Pleasanton. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF AUGUST 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, and Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioners Michelot.ti and Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: ~~~' <br />r indsey, Cha' n <br />Brian W.
