PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-103 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR BRADLEY ANDERSON FOR THE CHURCH OF JESUS <br />CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS <br />WHEREAS, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has applied <br />for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development <br />plan approval for an approximately 14,800 sq. ft. chapel <br />and related improvements and a remainder area for <br />potential future residential development to be located <br />on an approximately 4.9 acre site located at 3574 <br />Vineyard Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 14, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-87-22; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 6, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 14, 1987 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />rezoning and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approva]. of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-22, application for rezoning to <br />"PUD" (Planned Unit Development) Medium Density <br />Residential/Public anti Institutional District and <br />approval of the development of an approximately 14,800 <br />sq. ft. church and related facilities on an <br />approximately 4.9 acre site located at 3574 Vineyard <br />Avenue. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
