PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-104 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />ANDERSON FOR THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY <br />SAINTS AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-87-22 <br />WHEREAS, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has applied <br />for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development <br />plan approval for an approximately 14,800 sq. ft. chapel <br />and related improvements and a remainder area for <br />potential future residential development to be located <br />on an approximately 4.9 acre site located at 3574 <br />Vineyard Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 14, 1987, <br />the Planning Commission recommented approval of the <br />negative declaration for Case PUD-87-22 after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendtions of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the development plan <br />is consistent with the General Plan and purposes of the <br />PUD Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds "PUD" (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Medium Density Residential/Public and <br />Institutional" District to be consistent with the <br />General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-87-22, application <br />for rezoning to "PUD" (Planned Unit Development) Medium <br />Density Residential/Public and Institutional District <br />and the development of an approximately 14,800 sq. ft. <br />church and related facilities for the approximately 4.9 <br />acre site located at 3574 Vineyard Avenue subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
