PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-105 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR BROOKSIDE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-87-24 <br />WHEREAS, Brookside Development Company has applied for Planned <br />Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval <br />for an approximately 5,650 square foot automobile <br />washing facility and related improvements to be located <br />on an approximately 0.90 acre site located on the north <br />side of Pimlico Drive approximately 800 feet east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 14, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-87-24; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 18, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 14, 1987, <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />rezoning and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds, that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-87-24, application for Planned <br />Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval <br />for an approximately 5,650 sq. ft. automobile washing <br />facility and related improvements to be located on an <br />approximately 0.90 acre site located on the north side <br />of Pimlico Drive approximately 800 feet east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive. <br />- i - <br />
