PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-107 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SUNSET <br />CUSTOM GLASS TINTING ET AL AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-87-41 <br />WHEREAS, Sunset Custom Glass Tinting and Joseph Madden have <br />applied for a conditional use permit to retain an <br />automobile glass tinting operation in an existing <br />commercial service building located at 3715 Old Santa <br />Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />a) That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accordance with the objectives of the <br />Municipal Code and the purpose of the district in <br />which the site is located; <br />The proposed use can be accommodated in the <br />existing facilities of the site and is compatible <br />with other automobile-related uses within the <br />complex and in the area; <br />b) That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in the <br />vicinity; <br />As conditioned, the automobile tinting activities <br />of the business performed on the premises shall be <br />conducted entirely indoors within the work bays and <br />the storage of customer automobiles shall be <br />limited to interior spaces or to on-site exterior <br />parking spaces. <br />c) That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the Municipal <br />Code; and <br />As proposed and conditioned, each applicable <br />provisions of the Municipal Code will be satisfied. <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from <br />the requirements of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act. <br />- 1 - <br />
