CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-01 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF VINEYARD AVENUE/FIRST STREET BIKE LANE <br /> (ADAMS WAY TO STANLEY BOULEVARD), PROJECT NO. 85-8, AND <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO MCE CORPORATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by MCE Corporation on the Vineyard Avenue/First <br /> Street bike lane (Adams Way to Stanley Boulevard), <br /> Project No. 85-8, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Vineyard Avenue/First Street bike <br /> lane (Adams Way to Stanley Boulevard) is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $1,179.18 in favor of MCE <br /> Corporation in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. 85-8. <br /> Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or $951.34 will <br /> be retained until thirty (30) days after filing of the <br /> Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 7, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: ~~ I~j~yOR <br /> c.
