PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-111 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE Z-87-454, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review <br />approval for building modifications to the City Hall <br />complex located at 12:s Main Street and 200 Old Bernal <br />Avenue; <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the properi:y is "P" (Public and <br />Institutional), C-0 ((:ivic Overlay) Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 14, 1987 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the project is a simple modification/expansion of <br />existing buildings, each matching the existing <br />architectural style. Parking lots would be integrated, <br />as is required in the C-0 District. A unified color <br />scheme is proposed for phased implementation, again <br />meeting one of the purposes of the C-O District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed modifications <br />meet the needs of staff and visitors while taking the <br />first steps toward a unified, coordinated Civic Center, <br />the ultimate goal of the C-O District; and <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from CEQA. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval. of the proposed changes as <br />described in Case Z-87-454 subject to the following <br />conditon: <br />1. That the project shall be substantially as shown on <br />the plans on file with the Planning Department <br />dated October 6, 1987. <br />ection 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />-- 1 - <br />
