PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-117 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-87-8, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for an amendment to <br />the zoning ordinance to modify the definition of "Bar" <br />to include any establishment which serves alcoholic <br />beverages to the public for on-site consumption after <br />10:00pm; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 28, <br />1987, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found it appropriate that <br />Section 18.08.028 of the Municipal Code be amended to <br />clarify the definition of a bar as any premises in which <br />alcoholic beverages are regularly offered for sale and <br />on-site consumption after 10:0opm, and that Table <br />18.44.090 pertaining to bars as a conditional use in the <br />commercial districts be amended to refer to that <br />definition. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING CUMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval. of the draft ordinance, Exhibit <br />"A", attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2.
