PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-118 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-15, <br />CURRIN/TIMM DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, Currin/Timm Development have applied for development <br />plan approval for the Phase I portion of the Golden <br />Eagle Farms project consisting of 130 units (115 <br />clustered SFD/15 custom lots) on an approximately 52 <br />acre site located on the east side of Foothill Road just <br />north of Castlewood Country Club; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />development) - Low Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, in January 1986, the City Council approved the Walter <br />Johnson Foundation's request for a rezoning and <br />development plan for the 316 acre Golden Eagle Farms <br />project (PUD-85-15). Because of the size and complexity <br />of the project, the development plan approved was a <br />preliminary approval; a subsequent, final development <br />plan containing the detail normally associated with PUD <br />development plans and conforming to the preliminary plan <br />and conditions of its approval was required prior to <br />development; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of <br />November 11, 1987, the Planning Commission considered <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this <br />proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed final <br />development plan is consistent with the preliminary <br />development plan, purposes of the PUD District, and the <br />goals and policies of the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, an EIR was prepared for the preliminary development plan <br />for the project. As no new information has arisen or <br />significant project changes have been made, no <br />subsequent EIR is required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends modification of the conditions of approval <br />of PUD-85-15 as follows: <br />CONDITION 1(b) - Change to <br />open area west of Foothill <br />final map is approved west <br />require planting trees in the <br />Road at the time the first <br />of Foothill Road. <br />- 1 - <br />
