PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-122 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF TRACT <br />5835, AMADOR SAVINGS/BERATLIS <br />WHEREAS, Amador Savings/Beratlis have applied to subdivide an <br />approximately 30 acre site into 64 residential lots <br />located on the north side of Crellin Road at the <br />intersection of Zinfandel Court and Malaga Court; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its. meeting of November 24, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission approved a negative declaration for Tract <br />5835 after considering all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission expressed concern that at least one lot <br />between lots number five and eleven should be eliminated <br />and that a minimum setback should be 50 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission expressed concerns with a soundwall <br />between lots number 54 and 60; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission expressed concern that Phase 2 is a <br />dramatic intrusion on existing property owners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Denies approval of Tract 5835, application of Amador <br />Valley Savings and Loan/Chris Beraltis to subdivide an <br />approximately 30 acre site into 64 residential lots <br />located on the north side of Crellin Road at the <br />intersection of Zinfandel Court and Malaga Court. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
