PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-127 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR TIOGA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-80-15-5D <br />WHEREAS, Tioga Construction Corp. has applied for Planned Unit <br />development rezoning and development plan approval for <br />an approximately 30,150 square feet mixed-use commercial <br />complex to be located on an approximately 3.63 acre site <br />located at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br />Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; and <br />WHEREAS zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 24, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-80-15-5D; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 2, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 24, 1987 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed <br />development would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval. of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case PUD-80-15-5D, application of Tioga Construction <br />Corporation for Planned Unit development rezoning and <br />development plan approval for an approximately 30,150 <br />sq. ft, mixed-use commercial complex to be located on an <br />approximately 33.63 acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and <br />Pimlico Drive. <br />- 1 - <br />
