CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-198 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF DIAMOND SIGNS AND BRADDOCK <br /> AND LOGAN OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD CONDITION OF <br /> APPROVAL REGARDING SIGN LOCATION (Z-87-116) (AP-87-9) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 22, 1987, the Design Review <br /> Board approved the application of Diamond Signs on <br /> behalf of Braddock and Logan for a monument <br /> identification sign located at 4800 Bernal <br /> Avenue,subject to certain conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code, the applicant submitted an appeal to the <br /> conditions requiring the sign to be single-faced and to <br /> be oriented parallel to Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br /> applicant and any other member of the public was offered <br /> an opportunity to present evidence regarding this <br /> appeal; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Council denies the appeal of Diamond Signs on behalf <br /> of Braddock and Logan of the decision of the Design <br /> Review Board regarding a freestanding identification <br /> monument sign for an existing apartment complex located <br /> at 4800 Bernal Avenue. (AP-87-9) <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 5, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler and Mohr <br /> NOES: Councilmember Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br /> ABSENT: None ~/~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
