PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-.133 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR RZ-87-11 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an <br />approxiamtely 10.8 acre site located on the south side <br />of Stanley Boulevard immediately west of Shadow Cliffs <br />Regional Park to the CS (Commercial Service) District or <br />to any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 9, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case RZ-87-11; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated November 18, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held December 9, 1987, <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />RZ-87-11, application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />prezone an approximately 10.8 acre site located on the <br />south side of Stanley Boulevard immediately west of <br />Shadow Cliffs Regional Park to the CS (Commercial <br />Service) District or to any other zoning district <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
