CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-193 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FROM PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR <br /> A PORTION OF STONERIDGE DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a deed from The Prudential <br /> Insurance Company of America to the City of Pleasanton, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference, for purposes of street <br /> right-of-way for a portion of Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 5, 1987, the City Council received <br /> a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> (SR 87:197) indicating that the acceptance of this deed <br /> is in the public interest; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Grant Deed from The Prudential Insurance Company <br /> of America to the City of Pleasanton for street <br /> right-of-way for a portion of Stoneridge Drive is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 5, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None EN~~T/R.
