PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-42 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE CITY HIRE A TRAFFIC ENGINEER <br />WHEREAS, the City is requesting traffic reports be submitted with <br />applications for development plan approval so that the <br />City may monitor traffic counts and flows within the <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission must interpret these technical <br />reports prior to approving and/or making recommendations <br />on said applications; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at their meeting of April 22, <br />1987 discussed the necessity of having a professional <br />traffic engineer review and make recommendations on <br />required traffic reports. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City <br />Council that they considering hiring a traffic engineer <br />who would, in part, review all traffic studies <br />accompanying development plan approval requests, and <br />make recommendations to the Planning Commission based <br />upon their expertise. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 22ND DAY OF APRIL 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: April 22, 1987 <br />ATTEST: <br />- 1 - <br />
