PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-05 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-87-12, APPLICATION OF <br />RENEE L. SPILIOTOPOULOS <br />WHEREAS, Renee Spiliotopoulos has applied for rezoning of a 0.43 <br />acre site from R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District to the CC (Central Commercial) zoning district; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 13, <br />1988, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this matter; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 13, 1988, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case RZ-87-12; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 4, 1988 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held January 13, 1988 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />rezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration for <br />RZ-87-12, application of Renee Spiliotopoulos as herein <br />described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
