PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-21 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-88-1, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE HOUSING ELEMENT WHEREAS, the City of applied to amend the Housing Element of the General Plan to limit the total number of housing units which can be given Growth Management approval to a maximum of 1,000 per year and to exempt housing projects of 5 units or less from the 1,000 unit annual limit; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 24, 1988, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-88-1; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 18, 1988 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held February 24, 1988 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case GP-88-1. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
