PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-27 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE TMI SPECIFIC PLAN (SP-87-1) WHEREAS, TMI Analysts, Inc. has applied for approval of a specific Plan for the residential development of a 155 acre site in the northwest corner of the intersection of I-680 and Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of December 9, 1987, the Planning Commission reviewed a proposed specific plan for the TMI property including three land use alternatives for the 155 acre site. The Planning Commission took public testimony and directed TMI representatives to return with a revision of Alternative A which reflect their concerns; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 27, 1988, the Planning Commission reviewed the revised plans for the property and directed the applicant to further refine several elements of the plan including the alignment of .Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue, the location of the neighborhood park, the potential for homes fronting on Foothill Road, and an assessment of the impact of the project on the Pleasanton School District's long range development plans; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed meeting of March 9, 1988, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, including the Environmental Impact Report prepared for this proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Recommends adoption of the Specific Plan, as amended March 9, 1988 subject to the following conditions: 1. Incorporate Development Alternative 1B (Exhibit 3A) and delete Alternative lA from the Specific Plan. 2. Revise the Emergency Access connection to Foothill Knolls to be a full service, public road; 3. Relocate the neighborhood park to the central loop, across the street from its currently proposed location; 4. Provide for potential elementary school site adjacent to the relocated neighborhood park, in the - 1 -
