PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-27 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE TMI SPECIFIC <br />PLAN (SP-87-1) <br />WHEREAS, TMI Analysts, Inc. has applied for approval of a <br />specific Plan for the residential development of a 155 <br />acre site in the northwest corner of the intersection of <br />I-680 and Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of December 9, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission reviewed a proposed specific plan for the TMI <br />property including three land use alternatives for the <br />155 acre site. The Planning Commission took public <br />testimony and directed TMI representatives to return <br />with a revision of Alternative A which reflect their <br />concerns; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of January 27, 1988, the Planning <br />Commission reviewed the revised plans for the property <br />and directed the applicant to further refine several <br />elements of the plan including the alignment of .Foothill <br />Road and Bernal Avenue, the location of the neighborhood <br />park, the potential for homes fronting on Foothill Road, <br />and an assessment of the impact of the project on the <br />Pleasanton School District's long range development <br />plans; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed meeting of March 9, 1988, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, including the Environmental Impact <br />Report prepared for this proposal. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends adoption of the Specific Plan, as amended <br />March 9, 1988 subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Incorporate Development Alternative 1B (Exhibit 3A) <br />and delete Alternative lA from the Specific Plan. <br />2. Revise the Emergency Access connection to Foothill <br />Knolls to be a full service, public road; <br />3. Relocate the neighborhood park to the central loop, <br />across the street from its currently proposed <br />location; <br />4. Provide for potential elementary school site <br />adjacent to the relocated neighborhood park, in the <br />- 1 - <br />
