~.; <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALLFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-28 ~ <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR CASE RZ-88 ~, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an <br />approximately 6.5 acre site located on the north side of <br />Vineyard Avenue approximately 450 feet east of the <br />intersection of E1 Capitan Drive and Vineyard Avenue to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density <br />Residential District or to any other district consistent <br />with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 9, 1988, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />RZ-88-3; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated March 3, 1988 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held March 9, 1988 at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case RZ-88-3, the application to prezone two parcels <br />totalling approximately 6.7 acres on the north side of <br />Vineyard Avenue approximately 450 feet east of the <br />intersection of E1 Capitan Drive and Vineyard Avenue to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density <br />Residential District or any other district consistent <br />with the General Plan. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
