PC-88-36 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PUD-86-17 APPLICATION OF PRESLEY <br />HOMES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA '°"` <br />WHEREAS, Presley Homes has applied for development plan approval <br />for a 239-unit single-family development to be located <br />on an approximately 270-acre site located on the west <br />side of Foothill Road in the area generally north and <br />west of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Low Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 23, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the initial study prepared for this project determined <br />that an EIR was required. A Draft and Final EIR were <br />prepared and previously distributed to the Planning <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission certified that they had read and <br />considered the EIR prepared for this project and found <br />it to be in compliance with CEQA; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposed project to be <br />inconsistent with the goals and policies of the General <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies Case PUD-86-17, application of Presley Homes <br />for development plan approval for a 239 unit <br />single-family development to be located on an <br />approximately 270-acre site located on the west side of <br />Foothill Road in the area generally north and west of <br />its intersection with Stoneridge Drive. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
