<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-3Z r <br />RESOLUTION MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS WITH REGARD TO <br />STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR A TRAFFIC STUDY IN NORTH <br />PLEASANTON "~ <br />WHEREAS, in 1984 the City adopted a series of "standard <br />assumptions" to be used in all project-related, <br />short-term traffic studies; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public of March 23, 1988, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />pertinent information and relevant exhibits concerning <br />this matter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends adjusting the north Pleasanton standard <br />distribution for office buildings to reflect the 1987 <br />employee place-of-residence as shown in Table 1, <br />identified as staff-recommended distribution. <br />Section 2. Recommends adjusting the trip generation rates to <br />eliminate the "Office/R&D" and "R&D/Light Manufacturing" <br />categories; change the "Office" rate to 2.0 peak hour <br />trips/1000 sq. ft. in the A.M. as well as the P.M. <br />(eliminating all "adjustment factors"); and add a "Light <br />Manufacturing/Warehouse" category at a 1.0 peak hour <br />trip/1000 sq. ft. rate for clearly warehouse-type <br />buildings. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 23RD DAY OF MARCH 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />- 1 - <br />
