CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> A~MEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-182 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER FOR VALLEY AVENUE <br /> EXTENSION PROJECT, A.D. 86-1 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 5, 1987, the City Council received <br /> a staff report (SR 87:187) from the Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities regarding the findings of additional <br /> soils investigations which require a different type of <br /> foundation for the railroad overcrossing bridge at <br /> Valley Avenue; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Authorize the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> to execute a change order in the amount of $176,988 for <br /> the construction of the redesigned foundation system for <br /> the railroad bridge structure on the Valley Avenue <br /> Extension Project, A.D. 86-1. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 5, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer' <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KEN <br /> <br />//~ames R.'W~iker, City Cler~ ' <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> AS TO FO~: ~~ <br /> <br /> Peter D. ~c ona' ,'Cit9 Attorh~y <br /> <br /> <br />
