PLANNING COMMISSION CI~'Y OF',PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ~*ALIF~JRNIA RESOLUTION NO. ~C-8~-55 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APP OVAT{, OF CASE GP-88-2, APPLICATION OF THE PLEASANT~N JQINT SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Joint School'Dist~rict has applied to amend the Land Use Element esi nation of the General Plan from Medium Density Re ide tial and High Density Residential to Public and I sti utional for an approximately 27 acre site oca ed at the southwest corner of the intersection 'pf B rnal and Case Avenues; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 25, 1,988, ',, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-88-2; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study prepared for this case and received the recommendations of the staff; a d WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held May 25, 1988 at which time the public was g9~~iven~the opportunity to comment on the environmental im acts of the proposed General Plan amendment; ands WHEREAS, the Planning Commission ham,' rev ewed the potential impacts in accordance withthe pplicable state and local guidelines governingthe reparation of Negative Declarations and Environme~'tal mpact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission fi~ds that the proposed would not have any significant a vers~ effects on the environment. ', NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION ~F THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the N~gative Declaration prepared for Case GP-88-2.i Section 2: This resolution shall beqcome effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
