PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION No,. PC-88-57 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIn7E DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-88-5 APPLICATION OF T~-IE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Growth Management Element and Lland Use Element of the General Plan regarding determination of population benchmarks; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 25, 1988, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-88-5; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission ,has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 125, 1988 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held May 25, 1988 at which time the public wads given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commissionjhas reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission 'finds that the proposal would not have any significant' adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative ;,Declaration for Case GP-88-5, application of the City !of Pleasanton to amend the Growth Management Eleme t and Land Use Element of the General Plan regarding determination of population benchmarks. Section 2. This resolution shall'beco~ne effective immediately upon its passage and adgptio$~.
