PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION No. PC-88-58 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-88-5 <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Growth <br />Management Element and Land Use Element of the General <br />Plan regarding determination of population benchmarks; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 25, 1988, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the proposed negative <br />declaration for Case GP-88-5 after considering all <br />public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations <br />of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission felt that current regulations <br />are sufficient to control growth within the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends that no benchmark be included as part of <br />General Plan of the City of Pleasanton but that the <br />growth shall be tied to the items listed in the Growth <br />Management Report. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 254TH DAY OF MAY 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Mahern, Tarver, and Chairman <br />Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioner Michelotti <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
